What is twitter? Twitter is www.twitter.com, a mix between facebook, msn, aim and text messaging
Users sign up and post snippet updates about what they are doing and they are show on the home page, the idea is to “follow” people by adding them to your network then you see all their updates and they see yours, for instance if you follow me at http://twitter.com/jp135 you will see all my updates.

Users can add widgets to go on their blog which allows people to be connected and shows updates on the people they are following, some of the biggest bloggers are using this including shoemoney and johnchow, the widgets that can be added are a great way of virtual linking with fellow bloggers.
Although there’s no real link juice to be had blog readers can click your profile and see your blogs or if they are a fellow twitter user they can follow you to see your updates
